Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries, documenting observations and reporting maintenance concerns or suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
