Allied Universal in Gallup, NM is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver to serve and safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other locations. This unarmed patrol driving role requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to reliability and customer service.

You will perform routine patrols, deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and document activity using site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines. This position emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Competenze

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Gallup, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or customers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disruptive conduct.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
