Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Flagstaff, AZ, to protect customers and assets at a manufacturing/industrial site. This unarmed role involves visible security, greeting employees and visitors, and supporting access control and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of entries, exits, and unusual observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site and Allied Universal reporting protocols.
• Document incidents and observations clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
