Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify relevant personnel and document actions.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, follow post orders, and escalate concerns through proper channels.

Job Description

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate access and activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, following established post orders, and escalating security-related concerns through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
