Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Route Driverin Flagstaff, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Pay Rate: $21.65 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the mall property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and document observations and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and visitor inquiries while helping to deter unauthorized activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
