Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Big Creek, WV. This full-time role involves protecting clients across various industries, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will drive patrol routes, monitor access points, document activity, respond to incidents, and complete shift handoffs following site procedures.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Big Creek, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utility location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials as required; and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, outages, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
