Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Benton Harbor, MI to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

• Mon 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
