Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and company policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; report concerns to site contacts and leadership.
• Complete daily activity reports and shift communications; stay aware of hazard information and restricted areas.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Bay Saint Louis, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report access-control concerns or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and maintain awareness of posted hazard information and restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
