Job summary

Allied Universal in Sulphur, LA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed TWIC Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across chemical/petrochemical locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and report incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
• Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)
• TSA Issued TWIC

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
