Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Route Verification in Spring House, PA. This role combines customer service with on-site security, requiring a valid driver's license and the ability to drive for assigned shifts.

You will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and complete daily reports. The schedule is part-time (Fri 10 PM - 06:00 AM; Sat 10 PM - 06:00 AM) with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures and site policies; respond to emergencies.

• Respond to incidents and alarms; document activities and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization per site policy; maintain orderly access to restricted areas.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports; coordinate with leadership on security matters.

Age Requirement

• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for employment (C101).

Driver's License

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). Candidates must provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policy, and help maintain orderly access to restricted or controlled areas.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications; collaborate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
