Job summary

Allied Universal in Albany, GA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver to protect and assist patients, visitors, and staff at healthcare locations. You will patrol unarmed, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values.

This driving position requires a valid driver's license and you will work Fri-Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. CPR certification is preferred but not required, and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and support a welcoming healthcare environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
