Job summary

Allied Universal, Albany, GA, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer/Driver Patrol to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will perform regular patrols, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding site policies.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and other security-related activities through accurate written reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
