Allied Universal in Northport, AL is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to safeguard patients, visitors and staff. You will perform routine patrols in healthcare locations, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while following site protocols.

The position offers flexible scheduling with DayTime Thursday through Saturday night shifts and a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

DayTime Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership, medical staff, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
