As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned area, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting access control and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of corporate office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, observing entry and exit activity, and reporting unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a technology-focused corporate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
