Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Identification in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential technology-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond professionally to concerns while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.


• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with property procedures, documenting observations and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.


• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as directed.


• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation using required reporting tools and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
