Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and follow escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift handoffs per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Tue 12:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Wed 12:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Thu 12:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Fri 12:30 PM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control irregularities or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
