Allied Universal in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Incident Awareness to provide courteous patient-facing security at a healthcare location. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and document activities for leadership review.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients and staff.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and first responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
