Allied Universal in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Badge Records. You will conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and report security concerns to protect our clients across tech facilities.

The role is full time with a schedule that includes day shifts and evening hours. A high school diploma and ability to pass a background check are required; prior badge experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications facility.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required access-control documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, equipment areas, and parking areas.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Records in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications facility.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required access-control documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, equipment areas, and parking areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while supporting a professional environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
