Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Asset Protection in Round Rock, TX to safeguard clients across financial institutions and other sites. You will perform routine patrols, deter unauthorized activity, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.

This full-time role offers a daytime schedule and pays $20.00 per hour. Candidates should meet minimum experience requirements and be ready to work as part of a trusted team

Qualifications

• 3+ years law enforcement or military experience, or 5+ years armed security experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution.

As a Security Officer Patrol Asset Protection in Round Rock, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
