Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Moosic, PA to safeguard clients across industries, primarily at a financial institution. You will monitor designated areas, deter incidents, support access control and deliver excellent customer service.

As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Moosic, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Required Qualifications

• Proof of High School Diploma or GED (C137): Candidates must submit a copy of their high school diploma or GED certificate as part of the application process. This documentation is essential to verify educational qualifications.
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience in access control or badge management. This experience is crucial for roles that involve security and access management within our facilities.
• CPR Certification (B205): Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. Free training is provided by Allied Universal for those who do not currently hold this certification. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure they are certified before their start date.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should demonstrate previous customer service experience. This is vital for roles that require interaction with clients and the public, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help support adherence to visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, parking areas, and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
