Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Guard Card/license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by law and policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific security procedures and, when needed, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization per policy, and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation; communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring team, acting with integrity in every interaction.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
