You will monitor areas, patrol regularly, and support access control while delivering outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests by following site-specific procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking, exteriors, entrances and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site policies; report unauthorized access or violations to supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and following post orders; contact emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports and communicate to supervision and site management.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in CHESTER, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site policies; report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
