Job summary

Allied Universal® in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Security Officer for full-time patrol and access management at a busy logistics and distribution site. You will provide customer service, deter security incidents, and maintain a visible, professional presence.

The role requires age 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and background/drug screening in line with federal, state, and local laws. CPR/First Aid and guard-card credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailers, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document observations in required logs or reports.
• Support the orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries while communicating unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Management in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
