You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding incidents, hazards, or other concerns encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as part of patrol duties.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
