Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Control in Buffalo, NY. You will protect clients across logistics and distribution sites, perform unarmed patrols, enforce access control, and provide excellent customer service while documenting security activities.

The role is full-time with a daytime to evening schedule and a $17.41 per hour pay rate. Required duties include reporting incidents, monitoring entrances, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Control in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting security-related activities. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by observing individuals, vehicles, and deliveries, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
