Qualifications

• Previous experience as a security officer preferred (demonstrates relevant duties).
• Ability to gather and interpret information and to complete reporting procedures.
• Knowledge of search and seizure, investigative and interviewing techniques (as applicable).
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provides internal/external patrol of buildings and surrounding property.
• Locks and unlocks doors to permit entry at appropriate times.
• Monitors cameras, alarm systems, and access control; admits authorized personnel.
• Performs safety inspections and reports hazards.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with local authorities.
