Qualifications

• Experience gathering and interpreting information for reporting procedures.
• Knowledge of search and seizure, investigative, and interviewing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and under indirect supervision.
• Ability to maintain daily contact with guests, officials, and employees.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in investigations and incidents.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Must hold proper license based on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides internal/external patrol of buildings and surrounding property.
• Locks and unlocks doors to permit entry at appropriate times.
• Checks buildings and work areas when not open for business.
• Monitors cameras, alarm systems, access control and admits appropriate personnel.
• Conducts ongoing inspections to detect safety violations and hazards.
• Prepares Safety Condition Reports and work orders as needed.
• Responds to emergency situations and contacts local authorities.
• Takes possession of found property and escorts guests and staff.
• Keeps security information confidential and prepares reports with accuracy.
