Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Security Worker Lead to oversee security operations across assigned areas. You will patrol facilities, manage a security team, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety of people and assets.

You will assess situations, respond to emergencies, and generate written reports. Qualified candidates have law enforcement experience and a valid license, with flexibility for different shifts and locations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in law enforcement required.
• Previous experience as a security officer required.
• Previous lead security role preferred.
• Requires full understanding and knowledge of law enforcement.
• Ability to assess situations and handle them accordingly.
• Able to handle a degree of self autonomy.
• Must hold proper license based on state/local regulations.
• Owns the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lb.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
• Must be able to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Provides patrol of buildings and surrounding property.
• Schedules and assigns daily work to a team.
• Coordinates completion of tasks.
• Protects property and staff by maintaining safe and secure surroundings.
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and admits appropriate personnel and/or guests.
• Unlocks buildings/doors after checking identification.
• Responds to all emergency situations.
• Maintains confidentiality of security information.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Patrols assigned areas on foot, checking for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards.
• Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to General Manager for correction or follow-up actions.
• Checks doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are tightly closed and locked; notes in log any unlocked doors/windows.
• Assists persons needing directions or information.
• Escorts people/property to destinations when required for safety of property or persons.
• Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides actions based on situation and facts.
• Decides when incident requires written report; submits to supervisor.
• Conducts investigations and prepares accurate written reports.
• May assist on-duty law enforcement officers with crowd control at large events.
• Assist with traffic control.
