Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as security officer preferred.
• Ability to gather and interpret information for reporting procedures.
• Knowledge of search and seizure, investigative, and interviewing techniques.
• Able to work independently and under indirect supervision.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as location requires.

Responsibilities

• Provides internal/external patrol of buildings and surrounding property.
• Locks and unlocks doors to permit entry at appropriate times.
• Monitors cameras, alarm systems, and access control.
• Responds to all emergency situations and coordinates with local authorities.
• Prepares safety reports and maintains confidentiality of security information.
• Maintains order and ensures the safety of staff and guests.
