Job summary

Allied Universal in Bangor, ME is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Access Control Driver to protect our clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving post; competitive hourly pay applies.

You will deliver excellent customer service, document activities, and follow site procedures. The role is full-time with daytime scheduling and opportunities for growth and benefits

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control Driver in Bangor, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control activities, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
