As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Blissfield, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with employees and visitors, communicate observations, and support a welcoming environment through outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 05:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 05:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 05:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 05:30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report security-related observations and incidents according to site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence while supporting a secure, orderly environment for personnel and operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
