Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Badge Support in Piscataway, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery personnel; verify authorization and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
