Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Luxury Warehouse in Piscataway, NJ to guard a premier luxury retail location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, deter security incidents, and support access control while delivering exceptional customer service to guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a luxury retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail floor, entrances, exterior areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with store leadership, visitors, and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
