As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will respond to alarms, maintain visitor records, and prepare precise reports while upholding safety and integrity in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor records, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
