Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Access Management in Vance, AL to protect clients across various industries. You will conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service while documenting observations with technology.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, controlling traffic, and maintaining logs. Minimum requirements include high school diploma, background check, and ability to work 11 PM–7 AM shifts; 18+ for unarmed roles;

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles where applicable.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic during normal operations, deliveries, events, and emergencies.

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Management in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will use technology to document observations and assist with security-related needs while working collaboratively with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow during normal operations, deliveries, special events, and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
