Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional to support an automotive manufacturing site. You will provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while implementing site security procedures and policies.

You will patrol facilities, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document observations in required reports. The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and successful background screening; CPR/First Aid certification is

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing or operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and assist with verifying authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions through required reports, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support continuity of site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
