Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Hospital vaccinations are required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted per applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the healthcare location, including interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized access and support an orderly environment.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting an orderly environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccinations are required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
