• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and direct visitors, staff, and vendors per access-control procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and escalate concerns as needed.

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, escalating concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
