Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
