Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a Security Officer Patrol in Portland, TX. This Part Time role offers a flexible schedule with opportunities to support clients in chemical and petrochemical settings.

You will patrol unarmed, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to safety protocols. This role runs nights Mon-Wed.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Tue 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Wed 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, restricted areas, access points, and the perimeter in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entry, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site emergency protocols.
• Prepare clear reports of patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
