Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in Irving, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a retail/mall location, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for visitors and staff.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security concerns with integrity.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and client representatives by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to identify and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other events calmly and follow site procedures.
• Monitor access points and direct visitors/contractors as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate patrol and incident reports for leadership and client contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and client representatives by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate support resources when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and assist with directing visitors and contractors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
