Job summary

Allied Universal in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Security Officer Patrol to protect clients across Commercial Real Estate and Residential properties. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol locations, assist with access control, respond to security concerns, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors and vendors while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property grounds, common areas and access points.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor and delivery protocols.
• Prepare reports and communicate incidents and daily activities to property management.

Pay Rate: $15.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial and residential property grounds, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery protocols in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with property management, residents, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
