Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, documenting observations, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry out armed duties in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
