As part of the role you will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors, respond to incidents, monitor access, and maintain logs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking, offices, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and verify visitor/contractor entries, maintaining logs.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service while using computer or tablet tools as needed. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
