Allied Universal in Carroll, IA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol. You will perform unarmed patrols at a food and beverage location, maintain a visible presence, and provide customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to identify unusual activity and support site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following food facility protocols.

Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support compliance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, following required food facility protocols, and assisting with security-related concerns as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
