Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Davenport, IA. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver quality customer service at a technology, media, and telecom location.

Pay rate $18.80 per hour. Schedule: DayTime Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and 21+ if armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state or local rules.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain authorized access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
