Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol in Albuquerque, NM. You will patrol and safeguard government facilities, deliver customer service, and maintain visible security presence during day and night shifts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to maintain an orderly environment for public services and operations.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation related to security-related observations and responses.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
