Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Visitor Reception to greet visitors, control access, and maintain a secure front desk in a healthcare setting.

This role offers a flexible, part-time schedule and the opportunity to work with a caring, professional team. Must be 18+ and pass background/drug screening; driver’s license only for driving positions.

You will use computer or tablet systems, log visitors, and respond to incidents with composure.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at a healthcare location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information as applicable, manage visitor access, and provide directions to appropriate departments.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly reception area and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
