Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen to be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and direct individuals to appropriate departments or resources.
• Document incidents, observations, and unusual activities and communicate information to site leadership or emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Healthcare in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and facility-related events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate departments or resources as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and unusual activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
