Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Reception Desk in Franklin, TN to greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity and provide outstanding customer service in a healthcare setting.

As a Part Time Front Desk Officer you will help create a secure, welcoming environment for patients, staff and guests while supporting scheduling flexibility and using our shift-claim platform. Pay is $16.46 per hour with duties spanning access control, logs, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: a guard card/license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies at a healthcare location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen individuals entering the location, verify visitor access as required, and provide directions or general assistance.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security systems; report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports and other required documentation while communicating professionally with healthcare personnel and emergency responders.

What You'll Do:

• Staff the front desk, greet and screen individuals entering the location, verify visitor access as required, and provide directions or general assistance.


• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems as assigned; report unusual activity, access concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.


• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.


• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with healthcare personnel and emergency responders.
